Last month we saw the launch of a new brand for our region – ‘Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited’. This campaign is led by New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, and the endorsement of Department for International Trade. The focus of Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited is to promote the region as the epicentre of clean energy in the UK and global-leaders in the ICT, tech and digital, and agri-food sectors. For small businesses in particular, the support provided to expand your business can be invaluable by highlighting various grants that your business could be eligible for, including the New Anglia Small Grant Scheme and the Growing Business Fund.
With our Marshall Wolfe strategic HQ based in Suffolk we believe this will have a positive impact on the region and we are delighted to support Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited. We are pleased to share the launch video which encompasses the passion of our region.
Below are just a few of the facts highlighted on the Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited website:
- We have connections to 700 ports from Felixstowe
- Adastral Park in Suffolk has over 120 ICT and digital companies onsite
- Office space costs 46% (Norfolk) and 14% (Suffolk) below the nation average
- £60 billion capital investment in the East of England by 2040
We chose to base our Marshall Wolfe office in Suffolk for a variety of reasons – one of the influencing factors being we all believe it is an excellent place to live and work with a number of opportunities on our doorstep. Not only is the cost of living significantly lower than in London, but we still have access to talented people nationwide. With just an hour train journey into London and beautiful scenery along the way, we have the best of both worlds. Although we love to shout and spread the word on Suffolk – we can’t help but want to keep it our little secret.
