A stick won’t work and I certainly don’t want a carrot to be encouraged back into ‘the office’… but offer me a great setting, a knowledgeable and interesting host, engaging customers and colleagues and the right sort of refreshments then you can’t keep me away!
When Petersham Cellar came to the Boatyard it confirmed:
We all value the opportunity to share knowledge
We have already had feedback from our clients who attended to say how much they enjoyed the evening and on the knowledge they have taken away, not only about wines from Italy, France and Spain, but also open discussions on a personal and professional level
Story telling is the life blood
This event came to life by collaborating with David, he described all of the notes in the wine, the varieties of grapes and some of the history behind the processes too. The passion, effort and knowledge he put in to the evening kept us all fully engaged (www.petershamcellar.com)
When you can work from anywhere work from somewhere amazing
We’re lucky to be located in Woodbridge right next to the River Deben and next to Robertson’s Boatyard who have some unique co-working spaces available: a cabin and a converted boat to name a couple. We used the largest flexible co-working space ‘The Sprat Shed’ which was the perfect venue for this type of event (//www.thespratshed.com/the-sprat-shed)
We’re sociable creatures and love being together
This event captured the essence of partnership and collaboration. From wine merchant to boatyard, technology to HR, people supporting people and taking the time to reconnect or get to know a new contact
We work hard to create memorable experiences and moments of Joy
What we really took away from the night was the pleasure in being able to bring some of our favourite people together and watching connections being made. And of course, the feeling that we are all now experts in wine (drinking)
Think – how do I bring talented people together with purpose …. not how do I get my teams back in the office.
Go big on amazing work spaces, the opportunity to listen to interesting people, the space to think, storytelling and engineer positive experiences.
