Liftoff for Space Enterprise Lab at Adastral Park in Suffolk!

Marshall Wolfe launches into the Future at Space East Event where our team, Lucie and Vaughan, attended the event last week that showcased the transformative impact of the space industry and its growing influence on global innovation.

The Space Enterprise Lab at Adastral Park stands as a beacon of collaboration, offering state-of-the-art technology, resources, and expertise. We were honoured to witness the inauguration of this facility, connected to the nationwide network of the Satellite Applications Catapult, demonstrating the UK’s commitment to advancing this industry. The day unfolded with insightful presentations from the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), emphasising the significant role it played in establishing a dedicated space cluster in the East of England. The panel’s discussions illuminated exciting prospects and collaborations for the region, positioning it as a key player in the UK Space sector.

Space East, now comprising over 120 members, has become the UK’s latest space cluster. It facilitates collaboration among innovators across 15 facilities, responding to the evolving nature of work. The cluster offers modular physical spaces for innovation, equipped with cutting-edge technology; providing users access to collaboration software, virtual reality headsets and interactive screens. The £17.5 billion UK Space sector presents opportunities and support to businesses across multiple sectors such as agritech, health, education, IT, and energy (just to name a few!) catalysing growth and innovation.
